Syringe Pump

A syringe pump is a small, positive-displacement pump used to gradually transfer precise volumes of fluid. It is used to gradually administer small amounts of fluid to a patient.

Cardiac Monitor

The cardiac monitor is a device that shows the electrical and pressure waveforms of the cardiovascular system for measurement and treatment. Parameters specific to respiratory function can also be measured.

Pulse Oximeter

Pulse oximetry is a noninvasive method for monitoring a person's oxygen saturation to determine when oxygen support is needed.

Ventilator

A ventilator is a machine that provides mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breaths to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently.

Oxygen Concentrator

An oxygen concentrator is a device that concentrates the oxygen from a gas supply (typically ambient air) by selectively removing nitrogen to supply an oxygen-enriched product gas stream.

Portable Compressed Oxygen

These are portable oxygen cylinders which contain compressed oxygen gas.

CPAP/BIPAP Machine/Mask

BiPAP (also referred to as BPAP) stands for Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure, and is very similar in function and design to a CPAP machine (continuous positive airway pressure). They are used to deliver pressurized air through a mask to the patient's airways.

Nebulizer

A nebulizer is a piece of medical equipment that a person with asthma or another respiratory condition can use to administer medication directly and quickly to the lungs.

Spirometer

A spirometer is an apparatus for measuring the volume of air inspired and expired by the lungs. A spirometer measures ventilation, the movement of air into and out of the lungs.

Suction Pump

Suction machines or pumps are used during and after surgery to remove surgical fluids, tissue (including bones), gases and bodily fluids.

Feeding Pump

An enteral feeding pump is an electronic medical device that controls the timing and amount of nutrition delivered to a patient during enteral feeding.

Feeding Bags

Enteral Feeding pump sets are bags that are designed to be used with feeding pumps. Some feeding bags do not require an enteral feeding pump to be used and these are gravity feeding bags.

Lift Walker

The LiftWalker allows the patient to pull themselves up by holding both poles and having the caregiver steady the walker itself.

Mechanical (hoyer) Lift

Mechanical (hoyer) Lift are used to transfer a patient from bed to wheelchair and from wheelchair to bed.

Wheelchair

A hospital bed is a bed specially designed for hospitalized patients or others in need of some form of health care. These beds have special features both for the comfort and well-being of the patient and for the convenience of health care workers.

Dynamic air matress / ripple mattress, wedge pillow

Dynamic mattresses, also called alternating air pressure mattresses or replacement mattress systems, have air cells that alternately inflate and deflate in a cycle to relieve pressure on the body.

Bed Pan (regular/fracture bed pan)

A bedpan or bed pan is a receptacle used for the toileting of a bedridden patient in a health care facility, and is usually made of metal, glass, ceramic, or plastic. A bedpan can be used for both urinary and fecal discharge.
